TRAUMA AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT
We are always available on call and at the clinic for dental emergency. Emergency situation such as swelling on the face, severe pain in the teeth, bleeding from the mouth, knocking out of the tooth, if the tooth is moving in the mouth, fracture/ breaking of the tooth due to fall/ hit from a hard object are always addressed on a priority bases.
We also give telephonic instructions if a tooth has fallen out due to fall/ hit on the face, so that we can try to save it, if possible.

1. What should I do if my child has severe pain in the tooth at night?
Ans: The pain in the tooth never begins immediately at night. Usually there is mild- moderate pain that the child will experience during the day. Kindly take your child to the dentist at this stage and get it treated. Also, when you will visit the dentist, they will prescribe a pain killer for emergency pain, if required.
2. My child's front tooth has fractured/ broken, what should I do?
Ans: Whenever, the child falls on the face/gets hurt, he has to be taken to the dentist for evaluation. (Refer the following image). Treatment will depend upon multiple factors like hours/ days passed after the tooth is broken, involvement of the nerve, milk/permanent tooth and various other factors.
